The San Francisco International Women Entrepreneurs Forum serves as a bridge between entrepreneurs from Europe, America and Africa and presents a unique opportunity to support the ecosystem of regional entrepreneurship. It aims to give international visibility to projects and start-ups launched by women, university students and Canarian entrepreneurs, with the support of the Vice-Rector for Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and Employment of the ULPGC.

3:30 pm: “Entrepreneurship Boot Camp”: Adi Abili: Managing Director of Accelerators at AngelHack, San Francisco, California, USA. MS, Finance: School of Oriental and African Studies. At AngelHack Adi works directly with global startups providing support and startup mentorship and education to take ideas and make them into high-functioning startups while expanding the AngelHack brand through an ever-expanding network of advisors, investors, and mentors. She currently holds multiple board positions in Silicon Valley (Advisory Board for SXSW, Defy Ventures), and recently became a US Regional Director for Global Ecosystem Startup, a global virtual one-week accelerator.
17: 00h: “Investment workshop: how to get funding”: Carolina Huaranca: Principal at Kapor Capital. At Kapor Capital, Carolina focuses on identifying early-stage investments, evaluating those investments, and partnering with entrepreneurs to grow their companies. She is particularly interested in Future Work, People Operations Technology, and Education. Carolina is a graduate of Cornell University and was awarded the Konologie Fellowship at The Wharton School.

Berta is a Founding Partner of Teamlabs where the adventure begins due to her concern for alternative education methods and her experience with young people in processes of citizen participation.
13: 10h: “Heroikka, from initiative to startup”: Heroikka is an initiative that started little by little and has become the place where the most relevant feminine profiles of Silicon Valley are not lacking. It is a platform to discover, create and collaborate. In Heroikka there are no registration fees or obligations, but enthusiasm and willingness to share is expected. We unite women’s skills with projects led by women to create a greater impact. Heroikka has its initial base in San Francisco, but no borders are set, they have been part of the African Diaspora American Summit and Tech Inclusion.
